Exceeded my expectations. After a lot of research, I went with this as the best of the low-cost NES clones I still have a working original NES but wanted one with HDMI and a smaller form-factor to actually use. Dead simple. Stretched screen doesn't bother me AT ALL--I actually like it better and am glad for the bigger viewing area. Controllers feel as sturdy at the originals. Some people complain about the sound quality and controller lag. I thought the sound was totally fine and there was the tiniest of lag when playing games that required pinpoint turns but my brain compensated. It's no different than the old days when we blamed the controller for not being responsive. Tried with a 143-in-1 cartridge that worked well.
