From deep within Mordroc's Castle, a foul stench rose up to mix with cold, damp midnight air; the telltale sign of the evil wizard's pet fire-breathing dragon, Singe; the beast that guarded the Princess Daphne in the deadly caves far below the surface. Dirk the Daring walked steadily toward the castle gate. He felt no fear; but then fear was for cowards. No other would dare to enter the perilous castle where Mordroc had imprisoned the helpless princess. But for Dirk there was no other possible course to take. Now was the time for heroes. Now was the time for action. Now was the time to enter the Dragon's Lair...
Dragon's Lair: The Adventure Continues is an unpublished Sega Mega Drive port of Bluth Group / Motivetime's 1993 SNES platformer Dragon's Lair / Dragon's Magic (a sequel to the original Dragon's Lair) that was being developed by Elite Systems, Eden Entertainment, and Taito (or at least their American branch) presumably in 1994 (according to the ROM header; the game itself doesn't say). The game was announced at Summer CES 1994 by Taito, with an expected Autumn 1994 release date. It was cancelled for unknown reasons and has every level playable (though whether or not the port itself is complete is unknown).
A prototype was discovered and dumped and here it is this original software version in customized Mega Drive cartridge with sticker and collector's box!

Questa edizione è interessante per gli appassionati di Dragon's Lair. La versione per MegaDrive non è mai stata pubblicata al contrario di quella Super Nintendo che è stata distribuita regolarmente.Non ha nulla a che vedere con il laser-game con la grafica da cartoon, ma è un gioco di piattaforme convenzionale: salta, usa la spada, lancia l'ascia, trova l'uscita del livello. La grafica è ottima, le animazioni e gli effetti sonori buone, La difficoltà è alquanto elevata. Lo consiglio agli appassionati di Dragon's Lair e gli amanti dei platform. Un paio di difetti sono tuttavia presenti: nella confezione non è presente nessun foglio o libretto di istruzioni; la stampa dell'etichetta sulla cartuccia e della copertina sono ottime, tuttavia la scatola è di mediocre fattura a causa di un particolare peraltro di basso costo: la pellicola trasparente che contiene la copertina è differente dall'originale sia al tatto (è liscia) sia come materiale (un sottile film trasparente che si rompe facilmente). L'involucro della cartuccia è di buona fattura. Un buon prodotto, che pecca nella cura di alcuni aspetti accessori, tuttavia importanti per il tipico pubblico
